العودة (The Return) is the debut album by too_basicc: eleven tracks and thirty minutes compiled from six to seven years of modular synthesis sessions in VCV Rack. Begun in the first days of the ongoing war, it was made out of urgency, as something to leave behind.

Every sound was sculpted from basic waveforms, run through sequencers and recorded, then cut and arranged into tracks. Abrasive textures, distortion and speedcore-adjacent assaults sit alongside samples drawn from nostalgia: Arabic dubs of anime shown on Spacetoon, and a resistance anthem. Moving across EBM, rhythmic noise, power electronics and industrial hip-hop, it is an album about resistance, survival and the will to remain.
